Kate Lennon
Kate Lennon has always wanted to make a difference when it comes to the welfare of animals. Choosing to study a Bachelor of Science (Animal Science) Honours Degree has helped Kate realise her dreams of understanding animal behaviour in order to secure their fate through research. Her honours project on lamb survival won her the coveted RSPCA Australia Scholarship for Humane Animal Production Research worth over $7000. This will definitely help Kate continue her research on lamb survival when she commences her PhD this year. She has also been awarded a Postgraduate Scholarship from the Sheep CRC and an Australian Postgraduate Award for her excellence in research from the University of Adelaide.
