Friends & Volunteers

Friends of the Waite Arboretum work to foster interest in the care and use of the Arboretum, and to raise funds for its development and promotion. Members receive a regular newsletter and may participate in a program of exhibitions, excursions, events and lectures. You can participate by helping to tend the collection, monitor tree trials, help with fundraising, developing educational materials or by being an Arboretum Guide.

  • Gardening, planting, weeding, pruning, watering
  • Preparation of brochures and self-guided walks

People interested in native vegetation can also help in the Waite Conservation Reserve.
