Tours Urrbrae House Historic Precinct visitors will learn about the history of Peter Waite and his family and view one of the most significant private houses built in South Australia. Visitors to the gardens of the Historic Precinct can see the thematic gardens including the Twentieth Century Rose Garden incorporating the Sundial Garden, the Sensory Gardens, the Garden of Discovery and the Mallee Sculpture Garden. The Waite Arboretum visitors will be shown around the 30 hectares of more than 2,200 trees by one of our very knowledgeable guides. Free Regular Tours Free guided tours of Urrbrae House are held on the first Sunday of the month at 2:00pm and the last Wednesday of the month at 1:15pm from February to November each year. Meet the guide at the entrance of Urrbrae House. Bookings are not necessary. There are also regular guided walks of the Waite Arboretum on the first Sunday of every month.
