"Morphing Nature" Exhibition by Basketry SA in conjunction with the Friends of the Waite Arboretum.
(as part of the Adelaide Fringe)Morphing Nature - metamorphosis, transition, transformation, change of shape, contortion, distortion. This exhibition in historic Urrbrae House is a bold approach to contemporary basketry. The fibre artists have taken discarded materials, both natural and man-made, and transformed them into beautiful objects. Guided walks in the Waite Arboretum on Sundays.
Opening Friday, 24 February 2012 at 6pm-8pm then daily 11.00am - 4.00pm until 4 March.

"A Medieval Christmas in the Fringe"
Concert by the Lumina Vocal Ensemble and the Lyrebyrd Consort.More Magical Medieval Music... After their sold-out 'Medieval Celebration' season in the 2011 Fringe, Lumina is back with a new program of medieval music inspired by the Virgin Mary and the Christmas story. Be transported by Hildegard, Dufay, Ockeghem and Anon in the beautiful acoustics of the Urrbrae House Ballroom.
Please note: The Ballroom is downstairs in Urrbrae House. Regretfully due to the heritage nature of the house there is no disability access to the lower level of the house and attendees must be able to manage stairs.
